Chirper Guitar Simulator can help people understand how to play solos or chords in any key of nearly any song by allowing people to see basic principles of music theory in action. The guitar simulator allows people to see all 5 scale positions all the notes in several differnt types of scales including
Major, Minor, Blues, and Pentatonic scales.
The simulator also demonstrates chromatic scales and chordular scales as well as displays chords
in nearly any key. Additionally, the simulator demonstrates some concepts of playing by chord number and how those patterns can be applied to any key. Finally, the simulator teaches practicing techniques to enhance ear training and finger training techniques used by some of the greates guitar masters
of all time. As the author of the program, I played with several top level musicians, members of Huey Lewis, a member of the Kansas Band, Herbie Mann, a Drummer
from Stan Kenton band, A musician in the Doc Severinsen band and many other great musicians. My father was awarded the Hall of Fame award for Band directors. My family was also the first to start a computer repair
shop in the early 70s in our city so i learned
software engineering early and went on to become a lead engineer for the Department of Defense. Combining both skillsets, I have created a program to help educate
people who are interested on learning the guitar
in a deeper way. For instance each major / minor key for the guitar has exactly five positions. The fingerings for each position are identical and with this training software you are able to see the five patterns displayed in any key. Learning those patterns and seeing the
different sounds you are able to create playing melodies in each of them can give you an edge. Eventually when you hear a song you will be able to feel the notes in those patterns if you practice playing melodies in each of those scale patterns. You will also be freed to shift up and down the neck more fluidly than if you only learn a song one way on the neck. Like an artist with additional brushes you can create different texturs of sound with the more techniques you learn on a guitar. Through the book, the videos and the examples i will show you hopefully These tools will help you increase your skillset.
